Rose Skinned Jasmine is a jasmine fragrance with a face transplant from a rose. She is young, but a hybrid of different times. Upon spraying, it glows as a sheer, pome rose with a wet, fruity effect; smell a bit longer and you will identify the distinctly dank jasmine heart. These in turn are supported by a near transparent infusion of lemon, green mandarin and neroli. There is lift and an implacable freshness to the blend. Aquatic tea and fresh honeycrisp apples stir the fragrance into something smooth, active and tenacious. In drying down the lemon fuses with a warm berry musk, and after an hour it returns to a smooth, watery rose. In short: florals and fruits bubble up from the earth and run together down a fresh brook, right into the bottle.

I love this perfume! Obsessed with the verdant, vegetal sweetness it opens with. I'm a huge fan of kewra water in desserts so I found this layering really satisfying and evocative! The jasmine comes forward with a slightly animalic musty quality that I love but with rose rounding it out. In the drydown it reminds me of jasmine and rose petals pressed between the pages of an old scrapbook that also holds sea fans, its floral, a little dusty with a cool aquatic freshness running through it. This one’s so special!!

We were all very excited to receive our perfume Rose Skinned Jasmine developed by Calderiansense… artist bespoke scent from his lab in Chelsea. Wonderful! Can’t wait for the next creation.
